  1. Hi Mr. Cogerson,

You seem to have a duplication. Which is right??

78.Fifty-Second Street (1937), Ian Hunter is a actor in 52nd street.
89.52nd Street (1937), Walter Wanger is the producer of 52nd street.

    Thx
    Mike

    1. Hey Mike. Got rid of Fifty-Second Street and kept 52nd Street. 52nd Street is how IMBd lists that movie…..and the box office numbers come from a great source for many of Wanger’s movies. Thanks for the heads up.

  2. I’m loving these yearly reviews – thanks! Just wanted to mention that Laurel and Hardy’s wonderful WAY OUT WEST was Academy Award-nominated for Best Score!

    1. Hey Andrew…glad you are enjoying these yearly reviews….over the years they have become one of the most popular pages on the website. Good catch on Way Out West….it’s Oscar nomination is now on this table and on our Laurel and Hardy page as well. Also added in the missing UMR links for many movies. Thanks for the visit, comment and for catching our mistake….all our greatly appreciated.

  3. Slave Ship is listed as having a listed domestic box office of $146.4 million, but the global box office is $142.50.

I take it this is because the global part of this page isn’t dynamic? I noticed a small bump in the numbers for a lot of the movies in these years.

Intrigued to see the updated global numbers.

    1. Hey Bobby…..yep that was an old glitch in the system…..but I have fixed it. The worldwide part is dynamic…..just not when I place the numbers on the bottom of the page….away from the main table. Working on a 1935 page….and it will have lots of worldwide grosses. Thanks for the headsup.
