    1. Hey Dan
      1. So her rankings are dropping…..based on her IMDb projects….she has an excellent chance to move back up when all those movies get released. The Black Panther, Mission Impossible 6 and the 3rd London/Olympus Has Fallen movie are all coming.
      2. I think the most surprising name on her list is Jay Leno. I guess they include all the movies Leno played himself. That actually does not seem like something they should do.
      3. I am one of the few people to see Jay’s debut in theaters….my dad took me to the Michael Caine movie…The Silver Bears…….a movie I barely remember. I think it made 10 bucks in theaters…lol.
      4. Bob…wipes his tears away when he sees that Marlon Brando goes from 188th to off the list. Sad sad day.
      5. 25 Oscar winners is pretty impressive….that is one of the Oscar winners/movies percentages out there.
      Good stuff…thanks for sharing.

      1. I went to Silver Bears back in 1976, maybe one of 13 I saw that year and why I went I don’t know. Another Olympus/London, now where will they attack.

        1. Hey Dan….well I blame my dad. He liked Michael Caine. He is the reason I saw some of Caine’s worst movies in theaters. Those would include Silver Bears, Beyond the Poseidon, The Swarm and The Island. The Island scared the hell out of me when I saw it in theaters….over the years it has developed a little bit of a following.

I read that the next Falling movie will be one where it looks like Gerard is a traitor….and will have to prove he is not….sounds like they are going for a Bourne story here…..instead of just topping the bad guys….he will get to out maneuver the good guys too. Good stuff.

  2. I still haven’t seen Angela Bassett’s breakout role as Tina Turner in What’s Love Got To Do With It. But I did enjoy some of her other films especially Strange Days (1995) an underrated sci-fi thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow, the first woman to win an Oscar for Best Director (The Hurt Locker).

I’ve seen 11 of the 32 films listed. Favorites include – Strange Days, Meet the Robinsons, Olympus Has Fallen, Green Lantern, This Means War and Contact.

I haven’t seen Boyz n the Hood or Malcolm X either (The only Spike Lee film I’ve seen is Inside Man, starring Denzel).

    Good work Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve
      1. Thanks for the visit to my Angela Bassett page.
      2. I have not seen What’s Love To Do With It either…..but it is one I know I will see one day.
      3. I liked Strange Days more on the second viewing…..the first time I saw it….I was not as impressed…..I know Bigelow’s pinnacle was The Hurt Locker….but give me her Point Break as the movie I like to watch the most…..I am of course talking about the original not the dreadful remake.
      4. I have seen 17 of her movies….though I do not remember her small parts in Kindergarten Cop or F/X. I liked This Means War, Contact and Meet The Robinsons as well. Green Lantern was ok.
      5. Of the ones you have not seen….but are good….I would say Denzel’s performance in Malcolm X makes that a movie worth checking out.
      Thanks for the feedback.

  3. I like her. Loved her in Music of the Heart, Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Surprised but glad she got a Ultimate Page.

    1. Hey Helakoski…thanks for checking out our Angela Bassett page. I have not seen any of your favorite Bassett movies….though I almost checked out How Stella Got Her Groove back today….if I had read your comment earlier I would have done it. Thanks the comment.

    1. Hey L.M. Good to know she is a good person even when the cameras are off. So I am guessing you worked with her on Master of None? Very very cool….thanks for sharing that article….which really gives Angela Bassett some serious props. Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Love your Marvel statistics. BUT Justice League did not reach one hundred million this weekend and YET you list it at one hundred and ten million. Marvel rules yet AGAIN! Which gets me to Angela Bassett. Still stunned that she TURNED down Marvel’s Storm role to make DC’s Green Lantern. BIG mistake there!

    1. Hey Starlord Fan….you are correct my current box office number is currently wrong. I will update that number when the final numbers come in tomorrow. I only vaguely remember the Bassett/Berry conflict on that role. Thanks for checking out Marvel page and my Bassett page…both are greatly appreciated.
