    1. You can roll your eyes as look as you do “Blue Steel” at the same time. Scotty wants to go see Zoolander 2 with me….are you in?

    1. I think he has something left. Then again being the class clown at 50 is not as endearing. Thanks for the visit.

    1. Hey Helgelandoer…..very funny stuff….I had not seen that in years…thanks for sharing the link to the You Tube video.

  1. Good work Bruce. I’m not a huge fan of modern comedies but I have watched my share.

I didn’t know Stiller was in Empire of the Sun, it’s been a while since I last watched it.

I’ve seen 19 of the 41 films you’ve listed, the top 15 on the UMR chart. I haven’t seen Happy Gilmore. I liked Meet the Parents but didn’t much care for the sequels. The Museum series was mindless fun. I enjoyed Tropic Thunder and bought the blu-ray.

I remember enjoying There’s Something About Mary but I haven’t seen that in over a decade. Tower Heist was a bit of a dud, even Eddie Murphy was unlikable and unfunny in that one. I can’t remember Zoolander much, I should watch that again before seeing the new film.

I’ve seen the 4 animated films he did and have to confess I enjoyed them far more than his live-action films. Voted Up!

    1. Hey Steve….I have seen 35 of these movies….so I am thinking I am a bigger Stiller fan than I thought. Stiller played Malkovich’s right hand man in Empire of the Sun….at one point Bale does enough to impress Malkovich…that Bale gets Stiller’s room in the prison. It is a small part…but he really sticks out now on repeat viewings.

Meet The Parents is funny….the sequels were far from funny. Tropic Thunder is a very fun movie to watch….Downey, Jr. does the DVD commentary in character….funny strange stuff. I think it is time to refresh your memory with Zoolander….hard to believe that movie is closing in on 20 years. As for the Madgascar movies….they are ok….they have not really been favorites of my little girls at all. I actually can not place Stiller’s voice in MegaMind.

As always…thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  2. I like it. Been a Stiller fan since his short movies. His Cruise stuff is hilarious. With his Color of Money and A Few Good Men spoofs being my favorites. Didn’t like the first Zoolander so I agree with your wife about the second Zoolander movie.

    1. Hey Helgelandoer……glad you like my Stiller page. Well you and wife agree on Zoolander…..but I still think it has some funny moments. Thanks for stopping by.
