Cogerson Review of Logan

Never been a big fan of any of the previous Hugh Jackman Wolverine movies. This one is so much better. Granted it takes a little while to get used to this R rated movie. When Jackman’s Wolverine and Patrick Stewart’s Professor X start dropping “F” bombs it was like hearing PBS legend Mr. Rogers coming out singing….”Won’t you be my f*cking neighbor”.

Once I settled into the tone and this story…I started to really enjoy it. This one is so good it makes me think that the X-Men producers wasted 15 years of Wolverine movies. Boyd Holbrook is fun as the main henchman….coming across one part Brad Pitt and another part Val Kilmer from Tombstone. In the end….this is one damn good movie. Shockingly….I now hope Jackman will make another Wolverine movie….did not see that coming.
