Tombstone (1993) Legendary marshal Wyatt Earp, now a weary gunfighter, joins his brothers Morgan and Virgil to pursue their collective fortune in the thriving mining town of Tombstone. But Earp is forced to don a badge again and get help from his notorious pal Doc Holliday when a gang of renegade brigands and rustlers begins terrorizing the town.

Box Office Information: 

Tombstone arrived in theaters on December 24th, 1993.  It was the 3rd highest grossing movie of the weekend….behind #2 Mrs. Doubtfire and #1 The Pelican Brief.  During it’s domestic box office run it earned $56.50 million which translates to about $125 million in today’s ticket sales.  Of all the movies released in 1993….Tombstone was the 20th biggest box office hit of the year.
