  1. Funnyman Will Ferrell finally gets ranked and moviescored. Let me just check if Austin Powers is at the top of the box office table.. whaaat? Oh dear lord no… I’m keeding. I suppose his role in those comedies were too brief to be included.
I’m a big fan of Anchorman, not so much the sequel, which had it’s moments. The first movie should be higher than the sequel on the critics chart, I don’t think the critics liked the sequel much, or did they? I also enjoyed Megamind, The Lego Movie and The Other Guys. I wasn’t impressed with Get Hard. Let’s see I’ve seen… 15 of the 29 films you’ve listed. Not bad, could be better. Nice work as usual Bruce.

    1. Hey Steve….yep his Austin Power appearances are funny but way to brief to be considered anything other than a cameo….his part in The Wedding Crashers was harder to leave off. Anchorman2 actually got better reviews that part 1. I am at 25….with The Producers being the only missing one that I want to watch. I have not heard a single person that liked Get Hard….makes you wonder how it earned so much money at the box office. As always thanks for stopping by….you will like my next current performer….MJ is coming soon.

  2. Will Ferrell is not on my list of actors to see. Interesting that he was born in 1967. THANKS FOR THE INTERESTING FACTS THOUGH.

  3. Where is Walter Matthau? Pretty sure I have had that request in for awhile too. As for Will, not a huge fan but I will watch one of his movies before I watch a Chevy Chase or Adam Sandler movie. The one Ferrell movie I liked got very low marks. I never understood why Everything Must Go did nothing at the box office.

    1. Hey Timlin….Walter is coming soon. Not sure he will be the next classic performer….but he is grabbing his bat and getting ready to hit. I liked Everything Must Go too….but it was a small little movie…with few laughs….Ferrell’s fan base did not respond to it all. Thanks for stopping by…I will let you know when I get Walter published.

  4. I think that most of Will Ferrell’s movies are on the stupid side of funny, and the Academy usually doesn’t pay a lot of attention to those. But that’s the kind of actor he is, and it seems to be working for him at the box office.

  5. Thanks for the page and the e-mail notice of the page. I like the new site. Ok now that I am done kissing your ass. It is about damn time you got this page done! Old School only 10th? Are you crazy? I do not even consider Megamind and Lego Movie as Ferrell movies. My final complaint is that Anchorman 2 is ahead of Anchorman. Ok now that I am done complaining I have to admit that I enjoyed checking out the Will table. Hopefully there are many more Ferrell movies coming. He seems to make better movies than Sandler so maybe there is hope.

    1. Hey Hinton….have you never heard of the saying…Better late than never? Old School is a great movie that has developed a cult following….but the reviews from critics and audiences actually have it falling below the 60% rating line….that hurt its score….but it still finished in the Top 10.

As for Anchorman….part 2 out grossed part 1….and it got better reviews….that makes it higher ranked….and the box office numbers are adjusted. Megamind is all about Will. LEGO Movie Ferrell is the only actor to appear in the movie…plus he does the voice of the bad guy. Ferrell seems to have a humor that will have a longer shelf life than Sandler’s. People seem to be really down on Sandler these days….but the man has had one heck of a 20 year run.

Glad you found your page….lots of new pages here…..you should stick around and check out some of the newer pages.
