Our Non-Spoiler Review of Glass

Huge Bruce Willis fan. Lately, it has been a bumpy road being a Bruce fan, as almost everything he has made has been pretty bad. I can handle their low budgets, but his energy levels in those movies have been  pretty low.  So, I was really looking forward to this movie.

Glass is of course, a sequel to Split and Unbreakable. I liked all three main characters in this movie. The music is awesome. The movie looks awesome. The performances by Bruce, James McAvoy and Samuel L. Jackson are really really good.

For the first 80% of the movie, I was really enjoying the movie. I have read that some people disliked how the movie slowed down in the second act. I enjoyed that part. The finally 20% of the movie is another story. There are some twists and turns I liked, but the “big twist” was a disappointment. After the grand climatic showdown, the movie really lost me. I felt like I was watching somebody trying to drive a car with two flat tires.

In the end, I felt this was a well made movie, it that has some really strong points, but the movie ends in a direction that I really disliked. Maybe in time, I will appreciate the ending more, but right now, I thought the ending sucked and it has left a bad taste in my mouth!

Ranked 26th of 72 movies on our Bruce Willis Movie Ranking Page.
