Shia LaBeouf Movies

Shia LaBeouf has gone from a child actor to an adult actor over the last 15 years.
Shia LaBeouf has gone from a child actor to an adult actor over the last 15 years.

Want to know the best Shia LaBeouf movies?  How about the worst Shia LaBeouf movies?  Curious about Shia LaBeouf’s box office grosses or which Shia LaBeouf movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Shia LaBeouf movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

Usually when I finish doing a movie page, I will tell my teenagers….”Hey check out the new page I just published”…..they usually respond with a…”Who is it this time?…..”interesting” …..”nice”……or my personal favorite…..”whatever”. Late last week, I told my 20 year old son that I had just published a Alfred Hitchcock page…..he slowly looked from up his iPad and said….”Dude why don’t you do a page with somebody that still has a pulse?” After receiving this constructive criticism, I asked my 19 year old daughter which actor would make a good movie page subject. Shia LaBeouf came to her mind almost immediately.

Shia LaBeouf (1986-) first gained attention starring on the Disney television show, Even Stevens, from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 he would appear in his film debut in the surprise hit Holes, opposite Sigourney Weaver and Jon Voight. After Holes, LaBeouf would appear in supporting roles in movies like I, Robot with Will Smith and Constantine with Keanu Reeves.

His career breakthrough occured in 2007. LaBeouf starred in Disturbia (think Rear Window), as a teenager under house arrest who suspects that his neighbor is a serial killer. It got good reviews and became a hit. Later that year, he would appear as Sam Witwicky for the first time, in the monster hit Transformers. He would follow that with two more hits in 2008, a major part in the 4th Indiana Jones movie and the thriller Eagle Eye.

2009 saw the release of his biggest box office hit to date in Transformers 2: The Revenge of the Fallen, and small parts in the ensemble movies Bobby and New York, I Love You. In 2010, he appeared opposite Michael Douglass in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. He then returned as Sam Witwicky for a third time in Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.  Since Transformers 3, he has decided to move away from big budget films and concentrate on lower budget movies that offer bigger acting challenges.  With the exception of Fury …. not thinking that is working out too well for him.

His IMDb page shows 50 acting credits from 1984-2017. This page will rank 22 Shia LaBeouf movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.

Hey Tr87….slowed might be too fast when describing his career….I am thinking at some time he will be back in the mainstream. Hopefully that is not in Indy 5….lol.

I also think Shia Labeouf is good, but his attitude and actions are going to cost him eventually. Even though I’m not from the old school, I like the old hollywood hubs because most of their movies resonate pretty well with me.

Hey Alecia…thanks for the comments…I try and go one “pulse” page and one “non-pulse page”…I am currently researching an actor that has a pulse…but it is an old pulse…so you might like that….lol.

And finally I agree Shia seems to be living on the edge…and it will indeed catch up to him one day…so many he will make some changes in his personal life.

To give Shia some credit, when you have giant robots shambling around it is hard to seem important in a movie. Never work with Children or Animals [or giant robots.] paraphaesing W.C.Fields.

You know ruffridyer, I believe you are correct….if W.C. Fields was still around I bet he would include giant robots on the list of things not to act with….he probably would include blue screens….but I do not think they even make movies that Do Not have blue screens scenes…so I will give Shia some credit….thanks for the comments
