Fast and Furious Movies

Want to know the best Fast and Furious movies?  How about the worst Fast and Furious movies?  Curious about Fast and Furious domestic box office grosses or which Fast and Furious movie the biggest hit in worldwide grosses? Need to know which Fast and Furious movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences and which got the worst reviews? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information and more.

So what will you find here on our Fast and Furious page?  Lots of things.  First, you will find a table that allows you to sort the 10 movies any 6 different statistical categories.  Secondly, you will find UMR pages on Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and other Fast and Furious alumni that show where these films rank in their careers. Thirdly, you will find some interesting graphs that show just how big this franchise has gotten.  So let’s get started.

Fast and Furious Movies Can Be Sorted 6 Ways In This Table

The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Sort Fast and Furious movies by stars of the movie
  • Sort Fast and Furious movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Fast and Furious movies by adjusted worldwide box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Fast and Furious movies how they were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
  • Sort Fast and Furious movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.
  • Use the search and sort button to make this page very interactive.

Enough is enough. The finale in this one made Fifty Shades of Gray look like a masterpiece. Deeply disappointing.

Hey Big Box Office. I think the word of mouth on this chapter is not as positive. I think bringing in a submarine might have been their “jumping the shark” moment. Sorry you did not enjoy it….but hopefully you will enjoy Fast and Furious 9…..which will be here in 2019.

I haven’t seen the new one yet but I am a fan of the series. So far my favorites were the first one and Fast Five, the one with the safe heist in Rio.

Looking forward to seeing if they can top the spectacular last entry, Furious 7, which grossed $1.5bn wow!

Nice work Bruce. I like the charts too.

Hey Steve….I have managed to avoid all of these movies at theaters…..and I will be able to avoid The Fate of the Furious until it reaches home entertainment…..though it looks like one of my favorites offers up some good comic relief….I hope they do not kill him off in this one….but I know Scott Eastwood is playing his protege….which means Kurt might bite the big one in this 8th chapter of the franchise.

That $1.5 billion for part 7…..is only trailing the combined total of the first 5 by $410 million….as the first 5 grossed $1.91 billion….I do not think anybody saw that coming. Projections for part 8 are coming in at less than 1 billion….so is that now a disappontment?

Glad you liked the charts……figured I would do something different…..last week I did a Going In Style page….this week it is Fate of the Furious…..depending on the views…..might do the same thing for The Return Of Groot in two weeks…as I have 6 UMR pages on the stars of that movie….including two from this movie…Russell and Diesel….not to mention Pratt, Zoe, Close and Cooper.

Thanks for the comment and the visit.

Just saw the movie. It is a fun movie but it is starting to have a difficult time topping the last movie. From fast cars to armored cars to tanks to submarines. I imagine Fast 9 will have to take place in space. Overall if you like these movies you will really enjoy this one. My theater was packed and having a good time.
