Ice Cube Movies

Want to know the best Ice Cube movies?  How about the worst Ice Cube movies?  Curious about Ice Cube’s box office grosses or which Ice Cube movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Ice Cube movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

Ice Cube (1969-) is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and filmmaker. He began his career as a member of the hip-hop groups C.I.A. and N.W.A.  After leaving N.W.A in 1979, he built a successful solo career in music and films. This page is going to take a statistical look at Ice Cube’s movie career.  His IMDb page shows  over 40 acting credits since 1991. This page will rank Ice Cube movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Cameos, shorts and television appearances were not included in the rankings.

Drivel part of the page:  There is not much left of our second website, CogersonMovieScore.com, except for a few mentions here on this website and an e-mail account that is still active.  Well, a few weeks we got a request from that almost forgotten e-mail account, asking us to do an Ice Cube movie page.  At first we thought he did not have enough movies to do a UMR page.  After a quick check at BoxOfficeMojo, we quickly realize that we had severely underestimated Ice Cube’s movie career.  So JTCharles603…here is your requested page.

  • Sort Ice Cube movies by co-stars of his movies
  • Sort Ice Cube movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Ice Cube movies by yearly domestic box office rank or trivia
  • Sort Ice Cube movies how they were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Ice Cube movie received.
  • Sort Ice Cube movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.

This by far was one of the best Ice Cube Movies. It was relevant to whats going on in Chicago and what goes on in Barbershops (where men and women come to vent without being criticized). It was truly a great movie. I highly suggest everyone to see it. Ice Cube is a great screen producer.

Ice… Cube? That legendary actor of stage and screen? At least we’re getting some diversity here. 🙂

33 films? Deeamn! That’s cool bro. I’ve seen just 7 of them though, let me list them – 21 & 22 Jump Street, Anaconda, Ghosts of Mars,Three Kings, Trespass and XXX: State of the Union. Did I see Boyz N the Hood? Can’t remember.

Lots of films there I have never heard of.

Looking at trivia – Cube’s got a good taste in films, they’re among my favorites too.

    Nice work Bruce. Voted Up!

      Hey Steve
      1. Ice Cube has turned into a pretty bankable star. I bet his Barbershop movie is a surprise hit. Even exceeding my predictions here.
      2. 33 movies is pretty impressive….Warren Beatty made 22 movies in 55 years….Ice has made 33 in 25 years….and he has 5 more coming soon.
      3. I have seen 11 of his movies…for a 33% view rate.
      4. I liked his favorite movies too.
As always thanks for checking in.

Ice Cube is not in Straight Outta Compton. He is a major player in the movie but his son plays him. Ice Cube is no where to be found. Just saying.

These are films Ice Cube did in any role of the film. For example, David O Selznick made Gone with the Wind. He did not appear in it.
