“The book is sad that it did not go to France,” says the Work Horse earlier. Well “sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.” – that book with its put-downs of Mumbles and The Duke has for some time been making me sad. Actually I am now quite pleased to see that Joel was taking an interest in newish actors like Travolta and Stallone when his 1983 book was published.
Thanks for sharing your views-popularity list with me. I’ll accept with gratitude Brando getting 49th place as that’s a lot higher than he got in that Book of Terror we have just discussed. Indeed maybe we have The Master to thank for The Great Mumbler being placed at all on your list as unfair criticism can win a performer sympathy votes from the public. I was pleased too with the views that Brando’s Steve video got. Thanks again Hirsch!
Besides many of my other idols make your list: The Duke [top listed STAR in fact] Babs Streisand, my other gals Joan and Doris, Greg, my great boyhood idol Jimmy Stewart and [saving the best wine for the last in that he is a JOINT idol of ours] Sir Maurice. Also maybe my own lobbying is working: at last Mr Gimme More makes a Cogerson ranking list!
Hey Bob….as rough as that book is….traveling is probably the best medicine…lol. Glad you pretty happy with our Top 50……I will try and keep that updated…especially since we have stopped looking at the million marches. Good stuff.
Charlie Sheen’s views do not go with his rank. If you can not count backwards how can we rely on your more complicated calculations. ?. Interesting UMR statistics.
Hey SteinHoF…..well…I fixed the Charlie Sheen error….and went ahead and checked all the calculations in the database….and them seem pretty good….so hopeful you will not hold the fact that Charlie dropped in the rankings and that I did not catch it……one day maybe I will stop making these mistakes…granted…I will probably be dead…..but one day it will happen….lol.
Thanks for sharing this information. A very curious Top 50. Not too many younger people. Lots of senior citizens or those that have already passed on. Like seeing Gary Cooper on this list.
Hey In The Shadows…..I agree, classic pages make up lots of these pages in the Top 50. Glad you like Cooper’s spot. That page has gained steam over the last year. Thanks for checking out this new page.
