UMR’s Review of Call Of The Wild
This was the 6th different decade that I went to the movie theater to see a Harrison Ford movie. Not sure if that makes old me or Harrison old. Overall this was the 23rd Ford movie I have seen in theaters….and the 50th Ford movie I have seen.
As for the movie…..Harrison and Buck are the best parts of the movie…..but this one never hits its full stride. At times the CGI Buck is distracting, Dan Stevens (I normally really enjoy his performances) is pretty awful as the villain in the movie and the conclusion is somewhat of a letdown. Karen Gillian has a small but nice role in the movie. Final thought: Movie entertained my family, but it did not impress them enough to want to watch it again.
