UMR Greyhound Movie Review
One of my trusted YouTube reviewers did not like this movie at all. Their main complaint was the characters were not flushed out well. Well, after seeing Greyhound, I am on the opposite end….as I loved this movie. This is a World War II movie, that centers on a convoy headed to England with supplies. For 60 hours, the convoy has no air support (called crossing the Black Pit), which makes them easy pickings for the German U-Boats.
Tom Hanks is the centerpiece of the storytelling. We experience the entire trip through the “Black Pit” through his eyes. We watch as he makes tough quick decisions that save and cost lives. I found the movie to be gripping from beginning to the end. It makes me wish I had seen this one on the big screen. Final thought: Go to Apple TV and watch this one right now! 4.5 Stars out of 5.0 Stars.
