  1. Wow! Great page! Bring backs some really good memories. As a growing young man, Elizabeth Shue, is one my earliest crushes, next too Angelina. She has had some memorable parts throughout the years and movies would be totally different without her.

Favorite Top 10: Really close to call, but I will The Saint.
UMR Snub (Too High/Too Low): Again, hard to say, but I think The Karate Kid is too high, potentially number 1, but I cannot say for certain.
Guilty Pleasure: Easy, HollowMan, I can watch over and over.

    1. Hey Bryan. Like father like son, so we both had crushes on Elisabeth Shue. She is too old for you….just the right age for me…lol Tally count of 8 is not too bad. As for The Saint….it is better than I remember it. I just recently re-watched that one. The Karate Kid too high? It had it all, box office glory, loved by critics and audiences, a little bit of Oscar love…..and directed by the guy that directed Rocky. And finally….your guilty pleasure….Hollow Man….it has developed a nice following over the years. Good stuff!

Didn’t her brother Andrew quit acting to play soccer?

    1. Hey Dan. Alright…so Elisabeth Shue gets the first look at the new Oracle list. I like that Michael Caine moved up a little on the new list. Looking at the first list, good to see old Doc Brown/Christopher Lloyd being the most frequent co-star. Ouch….15 is really really low for my girl Elisabeth. You take out Soapdish and Tuck Everlasting and it gets even worse. I think he played soccer before acting…at least professionally. As always….your efforts are greatly appreciated.

  3. I saw 10 including top 7. 10 and favorite soapdish , a hidden gem, better than tootsie. I love to laugh. 9 not a favorite leaving las vegas. other hidden gem dreamer an 8.

ouch , I never noticed the switch in leading ladies in back to the future series. still learning.

    1. Hey bob cox…..thanks for sharing your thoughts on Elisabeth Shue. Tally count: Cogerson 24, Steve 11, box cox 10 and Bob 7. I agree with you, I think Soapdish is indeed better than Tootsie. Granted Tootsie was a massive hit, while Soapdish did ok. I am also right there with you on Dreamer…a fun family movie. Well…then I am glad you enjoyed our trivia…and glad we can straighten you out when it comes to Back To The Future. As always…..good stuff.

      1. cogerson, I just watched heart and souls. a 7. light weight, light hearted, fun. Elizabeth shue was very good, she’s still got it in this one. the rest of the cast was solid. robert downey jr played all 5 roles very well in a tremendously challenging effort. BB King stole the show in a minor appearance. what about bob? robert William Newhart played bob Newhart in his only acting per IMDb. robert is bob’s son. I am robert William cox and loved the bob Newhart show, just bob, bob bobbing along. :^)

        1. Hey bob cox….thanks for the mini-review of Hearts and Souls. It has been awhile since I saw that one…I often get it mixed up with Chances Are. Interesting trivia about Newhart’s son. Bobs are everywhere I look. Heck both of kids granddads are Bobs. Good stuff as always.
