Want to know the best Gloria Stuart movies?  How about the worst Gloria Stuart movies?  Curious about Gloria Stuart box office grosses or which Gloria Stuart movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Gloria Stuart movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well, you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

Gloria Stuart (1910-2010) was an Oscar® nominated American actress.  Stuart appeared in many movies during the 1930s.  After appearing in a few movies in the 1940s, she stepped away from acting for almost 30 years.  In 1997, she received her first Oscar nomination for playing the older Rose in 1997’s Titanic.   Her IMDb page shows 80 acting credits from 1932 to 2004.  This page will rank Gloria Stuart movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information.  To do well in our overall rankings a movie has to do well at the box office, get good reviews by critics, be liked by audiences, and get some award recognition.  FYI.  Sadly, there are many of her early low budget movies not listed in these rankings, if we ever uncover the grosses for the missing movies, we will include them on her UMR tables.

  • Sort Gloria Stuart movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Gloria Stuart movies by yearly domestic box office rank

  1. Thank you for featuring a page on the multi-talented actress Gloria Stuart.
I discovered her on cable television in such excellent films as Prisoner of Shark Island about Dr. Mudd who repaired John Wilkes Booth and was sentenced to a long prison term; the classic musical Gold Diggers of 1935; the original Invisible Man with Claude Rains; and of course the older lady remembering the tragedy of The Titanic.
She was a co-founder of the Screen Actors’ Guild, an activist for the inclusion of minorities in Hollywood films, an environmentalist, and artist.
She brought countess pleasures to millions through her films and life.

    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for the feedback on Gloria Stuart. This page took forever to finish as work as so overwhelming right now. Tally count: You at 23, Flora at 7 and me at 6. Not surprised Gloria Stuart was not on the Oracle list….taking a 30 year break probably did not help her Oracle ranking. Looking at the first list…Paul Fix gets the most frequent Oracle co-star with 4 movies. I would say 20 Oscar winners is impressive for her…most of her movies were when the Oscars were not even double digits yet. Good stuff as always.
