    1. Hey Tess. I agree with you……he was easily one of the best parts of the movie. He has been very busy since 2011…many more Driver movies coming. Good stuff.

  1. Been a fan of his since Girls. So happy to see him reaching stardom. Like his roles in the smaller movies like Paterson, Frances Ha and What If more than I do his big box office hits. I have seen 66% of his movies. My tally will be 11 when I see The Last Jedi. It is not too often that my tally is worth even mentioning.

    1. Hey Helakoski. Your tally of 10 would put you in second place in our tally contest. Thanks for sharing that information. Glad you like his non Star Wars movies. I really liked What If too. Thanks for the visit and the comment.

  2. Wasn’t that impressed with the character of Kylo Ren in The Force Awakens but I have to admit he was a lot more effective in The Last Jedi. Adam Driver’s performance is one of the highlights of the film in fact. Especially interesting is his connection with Rey, there is an attraction there which will complicate matters further in the next episode.

I’ve seen 6 of the films listed – Lincoln, Edgar G, Logan Lucky, Midnight Special, The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

You should revise your score for The Last Jedi, it’s one of the highest rated Star Wars films – currently a 91% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. On my video chart it would probably score around 8.5.

    Good work Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve
      1. Thanks for the visit to the latest.
      2. I agree with you about him in the Star Wars…..he was completely unhinged at the end of Last Jedi…..which makes him terrifying as the villain….look forward to his story in Star Wars 9 or Star Wars 12 (depending on how you count).
      3. I have seen 13 of the 15 movies. Only Frances Ha and Gayby (never heard of this one) have escaped me.
      4. I thought Midnight Special was pretty good….not too impressed with Logan Lucky.
      5. I would say What If is worth checking out….it is pretty funny.
      6. The critics love The Last Jedi….while audiences are split on the movie…..there does not seem to be a middle ground…..at my work….half hate the movie….while the other half love the movie….I am in the “love” group. Anyway the movie going public is what is bringing down the The Last Jedi review score.
      7. When I first added The Last Jedi to the tables….it was the 4th best Star Wars movie…and the 2nd best 2017 movie…..as the reviews from the public have come in….the rankings have dropped…it is now the 11th best UMR movie of 2017…and the 8th best Star Wars movie.
      8. Maybe time will be kind to this movie.
Thanks for sharing your Adam Driver movie thoughts.

  3. Been in love with Adam Driver ever since I got hooked on Girls then Star Wars took it to a whole new level. Thanks for the facebook post.

    1. Glad you liked our Adam Driver page. I have not seen him in Girls…..but I first noticed him in some minor roles in movies like Tracks, This is Where I Leave You and especially What If. Thanks for the comment.
