Loved him in Marriage Story. Fingers crossed that he gets a Academy Award nomination. It might be his last chance to do so.

Hey Caroline…I liked him in Marriage Story too…..I would like to see him get a nomination….and they normally give an older star a nomination…last year it was Sam Elliott. I think the fact that Alda has a previous Oscar nomination might be held against him. I hope I am wrong. On the good side…Laura Dern won the Golden Globe for her role in Marriage Story….so maybe the voters will see Alda’s performance as well.

    HI BRUCE

Thanks for the feedback on my Alda post.

I wonder if we had come upon the first two Look Who’s Talking movies and had never heard of Mr Gimme More would we have thought that “Mikey” was a star making his debut as the voice of a baby?!

Jacob Haines who played the oldest of the 4 physical Mikeys is of course all grown up now and has 3 children of his own.
