    1. Hey John….I agree with you 100%. I think The Sundowners is a forgotten classic. I just watched it a year or so ago…. I could not believe that I had not heard much about the movie. The King and I and From Here To Eternity still very entertaining…both have aged gracefully.

  1. She was a very underrated.She was Robert Mitchum’s favorite leading lady. Black Narcissus, Heaven Knows Mr Allison,Sundowners The King and I are among my favorites. Heck all of her movies I love equally

    1. 6 Best Actress Oscar nominations…starred in 7 movies that got a Best Picture Oscar nomination….blockbuster hits….and yet her name hardly gets mentioned when people list great actresses…that is a shame.
