  1. I’ve seen just one Hayley Mills movie that I can remember – In Search of the Castaways – it’s a favorite. I may have seen some of the other Disneys, not sure.

Have to admit her father’s films interested me more.

    Vote Up!

Correction – Bruce, I’ve also seen Twisted Nerve which you have misspelt as Twisted Metal on the chart.

    1. Hey Steve. Thanks for stopping by our Hayley Mills page. We did not fare well in the tally count: Tally counts. Lyle 13, Flora 7, Steve 1 and Cogerson 0. Thanks for pointing out my Twisted Metal/Twisted Nerve mistake. It has been fixed. I have also found her dad’s movies more interesting than her movies….thus my tally count of 0….lol. Good stuff as always.

  2. I’ve seen Tiger Bay, Pollyanna, The Parent Trap, Whistle Down the Wind, In Search of the Castaways, The Chalk Garden, The Moon-spinners, That Darn Cat, Gypsy Girl, The Trouble with Angels, The Family Way, A Matter of Innocence and Cry of the Penguins. I saw The Trouble with Angels in a theater in 1966 when I was eleven and I got a crush on Hayley Mills at that time. Of course I got over it. A Matter of Innocence was enough. Dreadful Movie.
Tiger Bay, The Chalk Garden, Gypsy Girl and The Trouble with Angels are my favorites of Hayley Mills’ films.

    1. Hey Lyle….great to hear from you. Tally counts: Tally counts. Lyle 13, Flora 7, Steve 1 and Cogerson 0. I bet Hayley Mills had lots of 11 year olds with crushes on her. I feel bad….I have seen the remakes of a few of her movies…..but….have not seen any of her movies from beginning to end. I will have to check out favorites. Of the four you listed…The Trouble With Angels is the one I would want to see the most. Good stuff as always.

  3. I told you last week when you did Estelle Parsons that I saw Force Play at the Thalia revival theater in the city when it would have New York premieres of films that would be there a day or too and nowhere else. Same era, 8 years old or so they premiered Cry of the Penguins which I saw there.

Hayley has never been on the Oracle of Bacon list and I’ve seen her kid sister I think in every episode of Nanny and the Professor. These are the actors on the 2020 Oracle list she appeared with.
