UMR IF Movie Review
I wanted to see this in theaters, but outside factors caused me to wait until it reached Paramount Plus before I saw the movie. Movie revolves around a girl and her task to reunite imaginary friends with their children who have forgotten them.
The cast is stellar. Granted most of the cast is in voice rolls. Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski (the writer and director) appear on screen. The biggest part in the movie belongs to Cailey Fleming. Fleming is excellent. I can see her having a nice career.
The story is probably the weakest part of the story. It is interesting but seems to need something else. Maybe a villain or some more urgency. Still, I liked the movie, but not nearly as much as I would have predicted. It felt like a car running in 4th gear that never reaches the 5th gear.
Final thought: Good movie but I was expecting and hoping for an excellent movie.
