  1. I have seen 6 including 3 of top 6. 10 and favorite: raisin in the sun,, no 9s , 8s: the laughing policeman, an officer and a gentleman.

    1. Hey Taylor….I agree he is the best part of An Officer and a Gentleman. I put his drill sergeant with the drill sergeant in Full Metal Jacket (the late Lee R. Emery). Good feedback.

  2. You know it’s 50 years since The Partridge Family debuted on TV (if you remember that show). One episode from the first season had Lou Gossett and Richard Pryor as guest stars, sort of makes the show hip, at least for 1 episode.

Louis is no longer on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 Center of the Hollywood Universe list, These are the actors on that he appeared with.

    1. Hey Dan….thanks for these trivia lists. As usually they are informative and interesting. Great trivia on The Partridge Family…I did not know that. Funny to think Richard Pryor hanging out with the Partridge kids. Second list…wow…only 7 Oscar winning co-stars. That is a very very low total for an actor with such and long and massive IMDb career. Hmmm….I would have thought Lou had a chance for a spot on the Oracle Top 1000. Looks like James Woods (he does not have an UMR page) is his most frequent co-star. As always…good stuff.

  3. I have seen 4 Lou Gossett Jr. movies.

In order of preference they are:

    An Officer and a Gentleman
    Travels with My Aunt
    A Raisin in the Sun
    The Landlord

    None of these are favourites.

    1. Hey Flora. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our latest page. Tally counts: Steve and I are tied with 13….it looks like Bob sits around 5 (though he did not give a count) and you are at 4. I have seen 2 of the 4 that you have seen…An Officer and a Gentleman and A Raisin In The Sun. I like An Officer more than Raisin….but I have not seen the classic Richard Gere movie in a very long time. Good stuff as always.
