  1. Kirsten is what I as a male regard as a lovely little “cutie” who is very easy on the eye. However I have seen her in just one lead role: Myrna Antoinette and though I enjoyed that and found her very sexy in the part The Oracle in his column above gives it just a so-so critical rating of 64% and it probably did not make any money.

That’s because Bruce suggests it grossed just $85 million worldwide when adjusted for inflation; and the producers would get about only half of that in rentals to set against an inflation-adjusted production budget of $52 million in today’s money plus distribution and publicity costs. Anyway I also liked the rather unusual music in the film and I bought the CD.

Kirsten who made her debut at the age of 7 in [as WH faithfully records above] Allan Stewart Konigsberg/Martin Scorsese/Francis Coppola’s 1989 New York Stories [select company indeed!] has overall had a highly successful career: 39 acting awards and 83 noms and a current reported net worth of $25 million.

In the pipeline for her is one new project. She has just completed as a hoped-for 2021 release the movie The Power of the Dog a drama in which she is top-billed and in which her leading man is the currently-fashionable Benedict Cumberbatch. “A pair of brothers who own a large ranch in Montana are pitted against each other when one of them gets married.” [IMDB]

    1. Hey Dan….solid numbers for the still young Kirsten Dunst. Her Oracle ranking is higher than I would have guessed. Looking at the first list….looks like her Spidey co-stars lead the way with 4 movies each…that would be Robertson, Simmons and Franco. 29 Oscar winning co-stars is pretty good for somebody not yet 40. Good stuff as always.
