  1. The 1982 remake of Cat People is a big favorite of mine, I prefer it to the original. I have it on blu-ray and Giorgio Moroder’s score on CD. The poster art has been my avatar for nearly 2 decades at various sites including Hubpages.

I’ve seen just 5 of the 31 films on the chart, they are – To the Devil a Daughter, Revolution, Terminal Velocity, One from the Heart and Cat People.
    None of them highly rated.

I saw ‘To the Devil a Daughter’ at the cinema back in the 70s, one of the last of the old school Hammer horrors, it’s not a favorite but might be of interest to Richard Widmark fans. 🙂

    Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!

  2. I have seen Natassja in 5 movies:

    Cat People
    One Night Stand
    Revolution
    To the Devil a Daughter
    Paris Texas.

I thought she was brilliant in Paris Texas. Many people might think it dry goods but I liked it because of not just Natassja but also because normally supporting actor Harry Dean Stanton gave a tour-de-force performance in the lead role. I am glad to see Bruce giving it an 81% rating [and indeed his highest one] in the table above.

Natassja’s last film was as is shown in the tables above way back in 2013 and she seems to have done no work in any other medium since; and I can find nothing in the pipeline for her. However maybe she feels she can rest on her laurels because she has accumulated a reported net worth of $20 million. IMDB credits her with 12 acting awards overall and 10 nominations. Anyway good to see The Work Horse profiling another actress from a Continental background

    1. Hey Bob….thanks for the thoughts on our Natassja Kinski page. I have seen 7 of her movies…so only a little ahead of you. I have not seen Paris, Texas, but have always heard good things about. It is a tough movie to track down. I now Harry Dean Stanton got some Oscar buzz for his performance….a mere 36 years ago. Thanks for the information on her awards and net worth. Good stuff as always.

  3. Somehow Nastassja is # 399 on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 list but she doesn’t have as many connections as Anne Hathaway or Oscar connections like Eva Gabor. She did appear though with the top 3 on the 2020 list.

    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for the lists on Nastassja Kinski. She was a hot commodity in the early 1980s. Not thinking many modern movie goers have any idea who she is …..or who her dad was. Surprised she has a spot in the 300s on the Oracle list….I would not have been surprised if had not been on the list. Good ole Harry Dean Stanton gets the honors as most frequent Oracle co-star. Wow….she has less Oscar winners than Eva Gabor…..did not see that coming. Good stuff as always.

  4. Hi Mr. Cogerson,

Hey heads up. I have been working on Variety the year 1931.
I have several completed movie B.O. data completed.
How do you want to send this info.
    Please let me know.

    Thx

    Mikw

    1. Thank you Mike….lots of her overseas movies did not make the rankings….but I think I got all the ones that played in North American theaters.
