Since we are on the verge of movie award season (our favorite time of the year)….felt we should list our projected Best Picture Oscar nominees

- Sully
We also see Meryl Streep’s 20th Oscar nomination coming……then again…I think since she was not nominated last year….it is required by Academy law to nominate her this year.
Hey I am sure….I bet in 6 months you will know most of these movies. Normally my percentage is pretty good when guessing which ones will get a Best Picture nomination….but only time will tell.
I can’t believe we’re nearing Oscar season again. I haven’t seen any of these films but at least Sulley has been a box office success.
La La Land is getting great reviews so will hopefully do well. Some of the others sound a bit arty, no doubt lucky to make $20million. As for Meryl getting her 20th nomination, the movie did get good reviews but only time will tell.
Hey Chris…I agree…it is hard to believe that another award season is here already….Golden Globe nominations are only about 6 weeks away. Sully might end up being the only box office hit to get nominated….the rest are movies that might not find the masses when they reach theaters.
Streep is almost a lock for Florence Foster Jenkins. It will be interesting to see how many of these 10 actually make the cut….thanks for the visit and the comment.
i am sure your list is a good forecast but i have only heard of a few of these movies
