It’s opening at our sixplex on October 24.
Hey Dan….if you see Parasite…..I would be real curious how you liked it….I suspect it might be awhile before it gets near me.
Despite the fact it was on 2 screens at our local sixplex, my wife and I saw Parasite at the Westbury Raceway 10. To me it seemed like a farce until it got violent with a poor vs. rich thing. I’ve seen other Korean pics down the years at our theater that were better. One I can’t remember the title of was a Pirates of The Caribbean ripoff which wasn’t half bad. The end of the film (Parasite) reminds me a bit of LaLa Land. No it’s not a musical, it’s just a family of con artists all getting jobs at the house of a rich family and then a twist thrown in that blows everything apart and the twist is weird. 2 1/2 stars out of 4.
Hey Dan…..glad you got to see Parasite. Your review has taken some of my desire to see that movie….but it does make me guess what the big twist is…..after seeing the trailer a few times…your comment about it being like La La Land is hard to crasp. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on the movie…it is greatly appreciated.
This movie is getting some of the best reviews of the year…and almost made the Top 10 at the box office while playing in THREE theaters. Could be interesting.
