Wow, do people love this movie! I loved the original. I have to say this was disappointing to me. Things I liked: Miles is still a fun character to root for. Movie has lots of Easter Eggs for viewers to look for.

Things I did not like: I did not like the animation in this one. The movie was way too long and has some very long streaks of family drama scenes. My wife actually fell asleep in the theater. The movie ends with a cliffhanger. There is no Nic Cage around this time. Jake Johnson’s Spidey is a complete joke. A big chase scene near the end of the movie is the perfect example of how not to film a chase scene. In that chase scene the viewer has no idea what is going on….so it is just a series of computer animated graphics that go on and on.

Final thought: A decent movie but I was hoping for greatness.
