UMR Review of The Harder They Fall

In this one, an outlaw discovers his enemy is being released from prison, he reunites his gang to seek revenge in this Western. Overall I liked the movie, but there is not much new to the story of this western. If you have seen 5 westerns then you will be able to know where the movie is going almost the entire time. There are some memorable performances in this one. I liked Jonathan Majors as the hero. Idris Elba, Regina King and Delroy Lindo are fun to watch as well. As good as they are, LaKeith Stanfield and his Cherokee Kid steal the movie. I would really like to see a movie that starred Stanfield in this role. Final thought: I liked it, but I did not love it.
