Joel Hirschhorn – Safe to say that without Joel’s book, Rating The Movie Stars, Ultimatemovierankings.com would not exist.  Sadly this award is being given posthumously as Joel passed away in 2005.

Sadly every year we lose lots of actors and actresses, 2019 was no exception.  The passing of Doris Day was the one that hurt the most.  Rest in Peace Ms. Doris Day.

Hope everybody has a happy and safe New Year.  Thanks for a great 2019.

    1. Thank you Taylor. Hope your new year was a good one. FYI…..you were a finalist in our UMR Hall of Fame. Keep the comments coming and next year you will be a UMR Hall of Famer. Don’t be too upset…it is a tough club to get into. Heck even WoC has not gotten in yet…or me…lol.

      1. That is interesting to know. Maybe 2020 will be my year. Never been a Hall Of Farmer before. Thanks for the consideration.

        1. Hey Taylor….I suspect…as you climb the Top Commenters list….you will no longer be able to make that statement….”Never been a Hall Of Farmer before.” Thanks for all of the visits and comments.

  1. Happy New Year Bruce and family, and all the regulars at the UMR.

Live long and prosper ! As Spock would say.

The year 2020. I even like the ‘look’ of that number.

The UMR’s numbers look great too. 🙂

    1. Hey Steve…..thanks for the thoughts. Hope your New Year was awesome….hard to believe 2020 is here. I love the Spock quote….Live long and prosper. I like how 2020 looks too. And finally….thanks for all the help in making 2019 our best year yet. You are the man!

    1. Thank you Carl. Thanks for stopping by and commenting…your efforts and your “toast” are greatly appreciated. Happy New Year.

  2. Happy New Year everyone. Interesting stats. Congratulations to Cogerson and family that UMR continues to grow.

    1. Hey Flora. Thanks for checking out our yearly review….thanks to you and some of the other regulars….2019 was our best year yet. I always assume that the next year will drop off……so I am thinking that way now….though…3 days into 2020 and things are still looking strong. Thanks again…and Happy New Year.
