Dwayne Johnson Movies

Want to know the best Dwayne Johnson movies?  How about the worst Dwayne Johnson movies?  Curious about Dwayne Johnson box office grosses or which Dwayne Johnson movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Dwayne Johnson movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

When my oldest boys were younger they went crazy over WWF wrestling.  Easily their favorite wrestlers were Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.  If you would told me that in 15 years The Rock was going to be one of the most bankable movie stars in Hollywood, I would have told you that you were crazy.  Well that is exactly what has happened.  Dwayne Johnson (1972-) has been starring in hit movie after hit movie since 2002.  He is showing no signs of slowing up either….he is currently attached to an incredible 16 movies in different stages of production.

His IMDb page shows over 110 acting credits since 1996. This page will rank Dwayne Johnson movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information.  His cameos, shorts, straight to DVD movies and all of his wrestling appearances were not included in the rankings.

Dwayne Johnson Movies Ranked In Chronological Order With Ultimate Movie Rankings Score (1 to 5 UMR Tickets) *Best combo of box office, reviews and awards.

  2. Oh I see what you’ve done here you’re updated nearly everyone associated with the Fast and Furious series. My favorite trivia is the Rock’s Bond connection, the big guy with a sword Bond was fighting in You Only Live Twice was Dwayne Johnson’s grandfather.

    1. Yep….making this a Fate of the Furious weekend here at UMR.com. Last week….my Going in Style page and it’s stars generated almost 2,500 views….so I figured I would try the same thing this weekend. So far…so good….as all 6 Furious pages are in the Top 12 for the last 11 hours. With Rosalind Russell holding them all off.

As big as Johnson is becoming…at this point the Bond producers can not afford him. Maybe when he gets older and starts to lose some of that star luster….he can finally become a Bond villain. Yep that was Johnson’s granddaddy in You Only Live Twice.

      🙂

  3. Just saw the Rock’s latest certainly not Citizen Kane but not a bad comedy. The Rock has some comic skills.

    1. Thanks for the mini-review Stein….I saw Finding Dory this weekend…good but not a Top 5 Pixar movie….though my kids really enjoyed it.

  4. Hey, interesting facts but I do not think I have seen any of his movies – I DO KNOW WHO HE IS THOUGH. Sounds like this might be a popular site. THANK YOU.

    1. I think you have seen at least one Dwayne Johnson movie…..The Game Plan….does it ring any bells? He played a football star who ends up with an unknown daughter. The rest are pretty much action movies. As always thanks for the visit.

      1. Yes, I do remember that movie – it was pretty good. About A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US. It should say what’s ON your mind – not ARE. Thought you would like to correct it. Actually A Little Bit About Us was very good – such interesting facts. Thanks once again. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND LOTS OF HEALTH, WEALTH AND HAPPINESS IN 2018 and many years ahead……………………..
