Hey Max…box office mojo uses the box office rental number for their gross…..they do not turn that number into a gross….so they significantly lower the adjusted gross….The Deep was a monster (Jaws reference….lol) hit. Being a Top 10 hit…..so I feel pretty good about our calculations. Thanks for the mini-review on The Deep. Good stuff.
Hi Bruce, very interesting 1977 review as usual !
You made me discover the movie “The Deep” which is not so good but fun to see that it comes from a novel from Peter Benchley who also wrote Jaws !
I just wanted to know how you came with the 340 million $ domestic gross because on Bom the domestic total adjusted is 190 million $….Why such a difference ? Was the movie re-released ?
Thanks 😉
