  1. Having seen only a handful of his movies, I don’t feel qualified to opine on Mr. Pine or to participate in a tally count 🙂 However, I thought Unstoppable was quite good and his first two Star Treks were excellent, in my view bringing a freshness and originality to the genre that had not been seen perhaps since the first season of the original series. And Chris Pine certainly showed spirit and charisma as the young Captain Kirk. I was, however, a little disappointed by the third entry, Star Trek: Beyond, and the box office info above suggests I was not the only one. While it did well, it did not match the success of the first two.

p.s. Hope all is well at home despite the tragic news from Virginia.

    1. Hey Phil
      1. Thanks for the Pine comment, especially since you have not seen many of his movies.
      2. I also enjoyed Unstoppable and all of his Star Trek movies.
      3. As for Beyond….we are not on the same page with that one….but as you say….based on the less than expected returns…you are not the only one thinking that way.
      4. Charlottesville is almost 4 hours away from our house…so all is going well here….it is always sad to see Virginia making worldwide news for such tragic events.
      Thanks for the feedback.
