  1. I agree with the previous comments, I liked the old format better, everything in one place.

    George Segal was # 427 on the 2016 Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 Center of the Hollywood Universe list (he’s now down to 507). Back on the original list in 2000 he was actually # 71, at least still on the list. These are the actors on the 2016 list he has had the pleasure to work with;

    1. Hey Dan
      1. Thanks for the feedback on the new format…….trying to figure out a way that mobile users can use the site as well as tablet and laptop computers.
      2. Good to know George was in the Top 500….though he is now out of the Top 500…..at 84 not thinking there are too many more Segal movies coming down the path.
      3. First list and second lists are massive, massive….thanks for sharing.
      4. 42 Oscar winners is pretty impressive…..looks like the big winner was The Longest Day when looking at the Oscar winners.
Thanks as always for sharing this information.

  2. Personally, I prefer the format that you have been using. I enjoy looking at the full page of movies and trivia all at once and if I want to search a specific statistic I can. As long as that’s easy to find, I am happy.

I have seen 8 George Segal movies. I recently saw The Young Doctors for the first time. I enjoyed the movie.

The highest ranked movie I’ve seen is Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? I have seen it once. I don’t plan on seeing it a second time.

The highest ranked film I have NOT seen is A Touch of Class.

The lowest ranked movie I’ve seen is the aforementioned The Young Doctors.

I have seen Rollercoaster in which he costars with Richard Widmark. It’s not one of my favourite Widmark movies, but he gets to star alongside his friend Henry Fonda again.

I only have three favourites among George Segal movies:
    Ship of Fools
    The Quiller Memorandum
    The Owl and the Pussycat

    1. Hey Flora
      1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this new page format. Trying to make the links more accessible so you find the stats…….I am real curious what I will be thinking tomorrow…..after a night’s sleep…..as I digest this format.
      2. I have seen 24 of these movies…..so a rare occasion that I top your tally.
      3. Right there with you on Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?…I am perfectly satisfied to never waste another evening with that quartet of yelling, hateful people.
      4. I liked Rollercoaster…….it’s “success” helped get a tv movie called “Death of Ocean View Park” made…..it was filmed right down the street……and we were able to be around when they filmed….possibly there might be a glimpse of little Cogerson in the background….maybe if it ever comes out on DVD…..I can search for me with better technology…lol.
      5. I have seen all three of your favorites…..not sure which I liked the best…..I guess The Quiller Memorandum has some fine supporting performances. Sadly it is the forgotten spy of the 1960s.
      Good feedback as always.

  3. Interesting setup. Lukewarm on the changes. Are you using two different types of tables? I like the search box on some of the tables. If I had to guess you are using a combination of your old tables with your newish tables? As for George loved him in Just Shot Me as well as his “not there” dad in Look Who’s Talking. Hope all is going well for you.

    1. Hey SteinHoF16….thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts on the new setup. Actually…you are correct…when you wrote your comment….I was using two types of tables….WoC did her magic when she got off work…and now it is back to one table…..though we have now added two new tables….a Worldwide Box Office and a Movie Trailer one.

I saw a few episodes of Just Shoot Me as well…..but I have not even seen a single episode of his new show The Goldbergs. Look Who’s Talking was one of his biggest hits…..he skipped the sequel….but showed up for the 2nd sequel…..which is a horrible horrible movie. Good stuff.
