    1. Hey Dan. Thanks for the Helen Hunt lists. Seems strange that she is not in the Top 1000….when she has been in so many movies with people in the Top 1000. She seems to be making more movies these days….granted…I think her leading lady days are over. I recently saw her in The Miracle Season….her performance did not really jump off the screen….heck a few times I had to remind myself that it was Helen Hunt. As for the second list…good to the Grapes of Wrath co-stars sitting on top of that list. And finally…when looking at Oscar winning co-stars….16 is not too impressive…especially compared to Malden’s recent massive total. As always…your efforts are appreciated.

  2. I saw 10, including top 5 and bottom 2. 10s:twister (favourite), as good as it gets (favourite and my favourite Nicholson role) , bob Roberts (favourite), castaway. 2 hidden gems pay it forward , a delightful little 8. and stealing home with Jodie foster and mark harmon a delightful little 8 that I did not know Helen hunt was in her role is so small.

    1. Hey bob cox….tally count…me at 19, you and Steve at 10 and Flora at 4. As Good At It Gets is one of three movies that are Oscar winning roles for Jack…so I feel you have lots of company. My favorite Jack role is Terms of Endearment. As for your hidden gems….Pay It Forward has developed a nice following over the years…..have not seen Stealing Home in many moons. I must admit…I do not remember Hunt’s role at all. Hope you enjoyed your requested page. Good feedback as always.

      1. cogerson, thanks very much for page.
I personally knew from my high school one of nicholson’s bimbos (riding in fast car) in terms of endearment. lisa folse was gorgeous blonde who did not make it in movies.

i wondered what happened to ms hunt. since 2000 she had 99.1 million in box office from 9 movies. what a crash and burn. good co stars (a Hopkins, s johansson, colin firth, charlize theron, William hurt) just no box office except soul surfer with d quaid , 49.6 MILLION over half her total since 2000. because I love her hits I will investigate by watching her several possibly okay movies. I have already watched a good woman and it was okay, a seven, and zero box office

  3. I have seen 4 Helen Hunt movies. In order of preference they are:

    As Good As It Gets
    Rollercoaster
    Peggy Sue Got Married
    What Women Want

I used to watch Mad About You.

    1. Hey Flora…..thanks for checking in…always appreciate you checking out some of newer star pages. I guess the power of Mad About You helped in this case. I have seen and enjoyed all of your favorites. Rollercoaster is a movie I really liked as a kid…..and a movie I think about everytime I get on a rollercoaster. Good stuff.

  4. I was reading about Helen Hunt recently, not sure why, maybe something connected to my videos.

Holly Hunter was offered As Good as it Gets first but for some reason turned it down, luckily for Helen Hunt who won the Best Actress Oscar for it. Both actresses have the same initials HH.

I’ve seen 10 of the 27 films listed, favorites are – As Good as it Gets and Twister.

Oh what a coincidence – the remake of Kiss of Death turns up here, the original was in your recent page for Karl Malden. 🙂

Twister was a massive hit, no one expected it to be that successful, only Independence Day was bigger that year.

    Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve….thanks for checking out our latest UMR page….another Best Actress Oscar winner off the request list. Interesting trivia about As Good As It Gets. Hunter being offered the role makes perfect sense…..she got an Oscar nomination for James Brooks’ Broadcast News….and Brooks directed As Good As It Gets as well. I have seen 19 of the movies list. I would include Twister and As Good As It Gets in my Top 5….along with What Woman Want, Cast Away and Kiss Of Death (I like Nicolas Cage in that one). Yep…back to back pages….with Kiss of Death being one of the movies….somehow I have figured out a way not to see the movie that made Richard Widmark a star. The back to back success of Twister and As Good As It Gets put her on top for while. Good feedback.
