  1. In my previous post I said that Zack Snyder’s mini-series director’s cut of his Justice League runs for 240 hours. That was of course a mistake and I meant 240 mins – 4 episodes X 60 mins each.

I apologise for any confusion – and my apologies particularly to Steve Lensman for perhaps getting his hopes wildly built-up!!

  2. IMDB credits Jesse with a fine 21 acting awards and 59 noms; and Celebrity net worth site suggests that he has already accumulated a net worth of $10 million as of 2020. In the pipeline for workaholic Jesse are 5 projects:

    POST PRODUCTION STAGE
1/a TV mini-series of the Justice League [240 hours over 4 episodes]. Jesse plays Lex Luthor opposite an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. The series is being promoted as “Zack Snyder’s definitive director’s cut of Justice League” and some stars make personal appearances.

2/ The movie Wild Indian a thriller with Kate Bosworth. Jesse 2nd billed after Kate

3/ FILMING: Dual a satirical sci-fi thriller with ensemble cast

4/PRE-PRODUCTION STAGE: The Medusa a biography with Pierce Brosnan and Vanessa Redgrave. Jesse 2nd billed after Pierce

5/ANNOUNCED: a movie called The Market of which there is no plot information at the moment; but Jesse is star/producer/director/and writer – wow: what a Work Horse! Move over Cogerson!

  3. Not being an over-great fan of the modern cinema, I have seen just two of the movies in the above charts: Rio and The Village. However I welcome these Cogerson new pages about modern actors as they are usually a good learning-curve for me; and a bonus is that they are Joel-free.

Jesse escapes Hrisch’s clutches having been born in just 1983, the year in which THAT book was written; though had he immediately appeared as a baby in a movie in the way that the newly-born Jeff Bridges did [in 1951’s The Company She Keeps starring Lizabeth Scott, Jane Greer, Dennis O’Keefe and Jeff’s 8 year old brother Beau] Hirsch might well have been able to get in a savaging of Baby Eisenberg’s performance if it wasn’t up to at least the standard of, well bottom line say, a Myrna Loy one!!

As Bruce indicates above as Jesse is now only 37 his career has been remarkable: on top of the so-far 31 prolific film output that WH covers Jesse has been in 7 television productions and 15 stage plays and has participated in 10 audio books -largely as a narrator and in a podcast.

Guys like The Work Horse and political stats guru Nate Silver simply LOVE podcasts though they can be risky: poor ole Nate was trolled on the net by President Trump recently for suggesting that the President had just a 1 in 10 shot of winning the election and Donald Trump Jr has also just had a confrontation with Nate!
