  1. I was trying to remember his filmography, and other than Spartacus, the movies that first came to mind were your #15 and #20. I’m sure I’ve seen some of the others, but not many are very vivid in my mind. Can’t say I care for The Vikings much, the whole production seems kind of hammy, and Kirk sure could chew scenery. But there looks like interesting, serious titles in here I’d like to get more familiar with.

    1. Thanks for the thoughts on Mr. Douglas, snepts. Hopefully you were able to check out a few of his movies since last year’s comment. As for The Vikings….a fun popcorn movie for sure…one of my dad’s favorites…and yes in that one….he did chew some scenery…lol. Happy Birthday to Kirk Douglas.

    1. Thank you Annette. Now he is 103….I wonder why I did not comment back last year. Thankfully he is still around in 2019.

  2. Love the trivia about George Sekulovich and Issur Danielovitch. I think they both made the right decision. I think a page on Mr. Selulovich would be a good one too.

    1. Hey Steve…when I was updating this page…I realized I had not mentioned how he picked his screen name….cool story indeed. Mr. Malden knew what he was doing.

  3. I was wondering why the Kirk Douglas page has been trending. I’m glad to find out it is because his page has been updated to UMR’s new format.

    1. Hey Flora….yep it was the update that has him trending…..I think the same thought when I see someone trending for no apparent reason. Olivia de Havilland is experiencing the same thing now………..as I am updating her page now. It takes awhile to update a person. Thanks for checking in.
