For a few short minutes yesterday, I thought Luke Wilson had passed away in a fatal car accident. Thankfully that was not the case….though he was involved in a fatal car accident…but he was the hero and not the victim. I have liked Luke since seeing him in 1994’s Bottle Rocket. Hey Dan….thanks for the lists on Mr. Luke Wilson….good to know he has a spot in the Top 1000…..he has quietly had a nice long pretty successful career. So glad that career did not come to an abrupt ending the other day. Lots of comedy stars in the first list….with lots of movies with his brother Owen, Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller.
Looking at the other two lists…things that caught my eye…Sally Field…off the list……sad….Raquel Welch…not surprised at all. 22 Oscar winners is pretty good…especially for the many low budget movies he has appeared in over the years. Good information as always.

I’ve seen 12 Luke Wilson films, that includes the first Charlie’s Angels movie which is missing from the chart.
3:10 to Yuma is probably my favorite movie here, but I also enjoyed The Royal Tenenbaums, Battle for Terra and the first Charlie’s Angels movie.
I was reading about that car accident earlier today, Luke’s not just a screen hero.

1. I have enjoyed his performances since seeing him in Bottle Rocket…which I actually saw in theaters….one of the few that can make that claim.
2. I have seen 25 of these movies….loved Bottle Rocket, Royal Tenenbaums, Middle Men (which is about how porn took over the internet) and You Kill Me….which has an excellent Ben Kingsley role.
3. Yep….he was a hero…..so glad he is not gone and a hero…..for about 10 minutes I thought he was gone.
