To be honest I never heard of Michael K. Williams before he passed , never watched the Wire. I’ve seen 27 of his movies listed. The highest ranked one I have not seen is Life During Wartime.
Hey Dan. I have not watched any episodes of The Wire either. I think I first noticed him in Boardwalk Empire. His movie career was a lot larger than I would have guessed. So you have seen 27 of his movies….I have seen…counting….23…so you have defeated me yet again. I like you have seen his Top 13 before stumbling on Life During Wartime. If I counted the ones that I remember his role…my tally count drops to 4. He remember him in Motherless Brooklyn, Body Brokers, The Public and Critical Thinking…I thought he was strong in all of those movies. Rest in Peace Mr. Williams.
Hey Dan…..so after school, I saw that Michael K. Williams had passed…and I was putting together his tribute page when I noticed your comment on our In Memoriam page…..I was thinking it was commenting on the passing of Mr. Williams…..it took a couple of hours to realize that comment was on the passing of the French legend, Jean-Paul Belmondo. What a sad day to loss two well known thespians.
I was watching the film Body Brokers last night with Mr. Williams, and he played a significant part in the film. I also discovered that he had been on the Oracle of Bacon top 1000 in the pre Wikipedia days, so he was in my database. He was # 924 on the last IMDB influenced list. By the way the next film I watched, Jolt, with Kate Beckinsdale, was # 25,000 I’ve seen.
