Cogerson Review of Ready Player One
Why I watched this one? This was the first Steven Spielberg movie I was excited about since Minority Report.
What is this one about? When the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune.
My thought on this one? Loved this movie. A well done science fiction movie that begs to be watched again. Movie is jam packed with movie references. Spielberg has created a wonderful future world. The cast is outstanding….the computer graphics are top notch. Some of the movie references are incredible to watch. There is a segment in the middle of the movie….that I loved….but scared the hell out of my 9 year. I won’t mention which movie…..but a hint would be it is based on one of Spielberg’s all-time favorite director’s movies. Final thought: A movie I really enjoyed…as did my wife and our 9 year old….go see it.
