Requests

requests1

Thankfully we get lots of requests for new pages.  Well…the wife recently informed me that my way of collecting my requests was pretty weak.  She seems to think that writing down requests on whatever piece of paper or napkin or bill that is currently on my desk is not the way to do it.  So….since she is way smarter than me….I have decided to create a page just for requests.  Plus it should give a good idea of what pages are coming down the pike.

My logic in picking which page to do next….I lean heavily towards the subject that has the most requests.

  • Roger Corman – request by Dan
  • Peter Cushing – request made by SteveLensman, Dan & Brando 90
  • Disney Live Action 1967-1980 – request by Mimic
  • Foreign Movies requested by Laurent
  • Samuel Goldwyn – request by Dan
  • Sam Katzman – request by Dan
  • Fritz Lang – request by Lupino, Just Me
  • Bruce Lee – request by Brando 90
  • Harold Lloyd – request by Søren, Me
  • Henry Mancini – request by Flora
  • Patricia Medina – request by Dan
  • Mirisch Brothers – request by Dan
  • Edward Small – request by Dan
  • Rudolph Valentino – request by Laurent

Completed requests:

Many more to come…have to find all of my old napkins and transfer the requests to this page.

  1. Hi Mr. Cogerson,

    Another younger generation star request.
I would like to nominate Selena Gomez.
She is noted for her singing, but she has done 3 Hotel Transylvania movies that have had moderate success and is on number 4 under the same movie title.
So you see your voice is all you need sometimes to be successful in movies today.
Her acting still has a ways to go yet.

    Thx

    Mike

    1. Hey Mike…I will add her to the request list…..I just saw her in The Fundamentals of Caring with Paul Rudd. That movie which is over 4 years old was one of the better Netflix movies that I have seen. Good point about voices.

  2. wow, yea Cogerson. only 8 best actor oscar winners to go. i hope you are letting yourself love teaching as much as you deserve. you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

    1. Hey Mike…..that is a lot of movies….it might take awhile for me to get them all in the database….so I am going to put them directly into the page….so that way they will not get lost in the forum. Once again….good research…your efforts are greatly appreciated.

      1. Thanks

Going forward I will send from the year I have done.
I cannot keep track of them if I send small groups at a time.
        They get missed or lost.
        I hope that is ok.
So the next list will be from 1944 and I will attach it in the 1944 film review.

  4. Here’s a few more oldies but goodies for you.

    William Haines – Top billed in 21 top 10 films, 4 of which were # 1. Top box office ranks, 1928 – 8, 1929 – 3, 1930 – 3.

    1. Rest in Peace EVH…..saw him in concert with David Lee Roth as the front man and with Sammy Hager as the front man. I think the Roth concert was more fun, but I liked the Hagar one too.
