Thankfully we get lots of requests for new pages. Well…the wife recently informed me that my way of collecting my requests was pretty weak. She seems to think that writing down requests on whatever piece of paper or napkin or bill that is currently on my desk is not the way to do it. I’ve requested numbers from foreign adjusted all-time box-office results before. Mainly from other major movie countries. Such as China.
I still would like umr to add those lists to the site. Firstly, because I am interested to know which Chinese movies have brought in the most viewers, of all platforms, both box-office and IQIYI. Secondly, I’d like to compare them to the all-time adjusted American box-office.
I just can’t find anything on the internet on China’s all-time movie admissions.
Hey jordy…..thanks for the request….we will continue to see if we can get those numbers listed here….currently Box Office Mojo seems to be the best source for that information….though they seem to be moving towards making you pay for any information they provide. I will have to see if The Numbers has the grosses by country….and if we can “scrape” them from that website. As for the all-time China admissions… I can do some searches and see what I can come up with.
