Their movies have earned 163 Oscar® nominations and 52 Oscar® wins. Those wins include a Best Picture Oscar® for Schindler’s List and Titanic.  Spielberg has two Best Director Oscars® for Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan while Cameron won the Best Director Oscar® for Titanic

  1. No doubt Cameron is assembling his animatic storyboard from another stack of Studio Ghibli movies and perhaps Iron Giant or some such movie…

  2. Avatar stole the exact screenplay from Battle for Terra and exact sequences and designs from Nausicaa and the Vallay of the Wind and Castle in the Sky. The plagiarism was so bad that the similarities to Ferngully, Pocahontas and Dances with Wolves were slight by comparrison
