“Mr. McDowall had a very long and very successful career. Overall I have seen 25 of his movies….but only 21 of the ones listed. Our Roddy page ranks 67 movies compared to your 40. Favorites include #4 Keys to the Kingdom (kid role for him) #23 Overboard…a very funny movie…Roddy has some good moments in a supporting role. #3 The Longest Day (one of many stars in that one) #2 Planet of the Apes….one of Roddy’s best roles. #6 Fright Night…saw this one in theaters….he played a great ham actor….so much better than the recent remake. #30 Inside Daisy Clover….good movie…looks awesome….but more than a little depressing. #25 5 Card Stud….fun western with good roles for Dean Martin and Robert Mitchum. I like all the “Ape” movies….but none are as good as the first one. Good video voted up and shared on our Roddy page.”
