112 I A Woman (1965)
should be
112 “I, A Woman” (1965)
Hey Sidney….I actually had this one in the database correctly, but for some reason our database did not like the comma….so I am to use a period instead. So it says I. A Woman. Not sure why it does not like commas in this title. Thanks for the heads up as always.
57 Monkey’s Uncle (1965)
Should be
57 “The Monkey’s Uncle” (1965)
Fixed. Thank you Sidney. Your efforts are appreciated.
60 The Loves of a Blonde (1965)
should be
60 “Loves of a Blonde” (1965)
Hey Sidney. Corrected…thank you.
Correction: “The Cincinati Kid” should be spelled “The Cincinnati Kid”
Hey Bobby……this error has been fixed…..not sure how two Cincy kids got into database…one spelled wrong and one spelled correct……but pretty sure it was my fault…lol.
Hello Bruce.
I’ve seen 103 of these films. I like “The Sound of Music”, though I didn’t Think it was the best film of the year though it certainly was the biggest box office hit. I like The Beatles in “Help!” but i thought “A Hard Day’s Night ” was better. I think Charlton Heston gave his best performance in “Major Dundee”. David Lean’s “Doctor Zhivago” is a good film but it doesn’t hold a candle next to “Lawrence of Arabia”. I really like “King Rat”, “The Pawnbroker” and “The Spy Who Came in from the Cold”. “For a Few Dollars More” is my favorite of Sergio Leone’s Dollars trilogy. Oh, yeah! I like “The Ipcress File” a lot. Anthony Quinn is quite good in “A High Wind in Jamaica”.
Hey Lyle. Congrats on taking down Dan and winning the tally contest. 103 movies is 78% of all the movies listed. Job well done! I like your thoughts on The Sound of Music (though WoC disagrees strongly with us), Help is another example of not being as good as the original, Dr. Z does not compare to Lawrence.
I have not seen Major Dundee but I want to….as well as High Winds of Jamaica…both star James Coburn….who is one of my favorites.
Not with you on For A Few More Dollars…love the movie but The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is one of my all time favorite movies…not just western. Saw King Rat…but compared to other POW movies it is in the middle of the road for me…though George Segal shines in the lead role. Actually have researched George’s career…just have to write his UMR page. Not sure many people realize the movie career he had…..but it is actually pretty impressive. Great feedback.
