  2. The first time I saw Benicio del Toro was in the Bond film Licence to Kill in which he played one of the villains. Never suspecting this was a future Oscar winner.

I’ve seen 17 of the 37 films on the chart. Favorites include – Licence to Kill, Sin City, The Wolfman, Sicario 1 & 2, Traffic, The Usual Suspects, The Last Jedi, Avengers Infinity War and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Del Toro has appeared in three huge blockbusters in the last 5 years. Small roles but very much worth it for the increased exposure to a worldwide moviegoing audience.

    Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve. Good thoughts on BDT. Glad you noticed him in License To Kill….it took me years to notice him in that movie. But being a Bond henchman is a good club to be in. I have seen 28 to your 17 movies watched. Seen all of your favorites. Liked them all with the exception of Sicario 2. Those small but memorable roles in blockbusters makes him a great trivia answer. I suspect he might be back for the upcoming Star Wars movie. Thanks for the vote up and the comment…both are greatly appreciated.

    2. Hey Dan. Hmmm….I will have to look at the Joyride movies. Thanks for that catch…..I did not realize there were two Joyride movies that year…..Walker’s Joyride was actually pretty good. 647th on the Oracle list is about where I would have guessed. So he and Josh Brolin have 5 movies together…..that is good trivia. 27 Oscar winning co-stars is good….and I suspect that number will keep rising as he has lots of upcoming co-stars. As always…thanks for taking the time to share this information.

      1. Hey Dan…you were 100% correct about the two Joy Rides….his was the 1997 Joy Ride…and it never saw any theaters….while Paul Walker’s Joy Ride was 2001 saw theaters. I have deleted the movie from his page. Once again…great eye. Thanks for the heads up.

  3. A very unique actor. Luv his acting style in lead roles and in supporting roles. I feel has many more movies to come.

    1. Hey Jerry S. I agree he is indeed a very unique actor. I think he has many more good movies coming…though not thinking him doing the voice of Swiper in the Dora movie is going to be a highlight for him. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Hey Banderas Fan….glad you are enjoying these Hispanic/Latino pages. We here at UMR have no issues doing a page on anybody….or job in the movie business. Thanks for stopping by.

  4. I have seen 3 Benicio Del Toro movies.

The Usual Suspects is a favourite.

    I have also seen Basquiat.

      1. I recently re-watched License To Kill….and Del Toro jumps off the screen these days…not sure I paid too much attention to his part the first couple of times I watched Timothy Dalton’s best Bond movie. Good stuff.

    1. Hey Flora. Thanks for the thoughts on Mr Benicio Del Toro. I have seen 28 of his movies. I had no idea I had seen that many of his movies. Basquiat is one of the ones I have not seen. The Usual Suspects is a good movie…and put him on the map. Good feedback.
