  1. I liked Clive Owen in some of his earlier films: I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead; Derailed; Gosford Park and Inside Man. However I was disappointed in the recent Gemini Man and in fact didn’t watch the final half of it.

His box office over the past decade has been disastrous according to Bruce’s figures with the 14 films that Clive has made since 2010 collectively grossing $90 million in adjusted domestic receipts – an average of$6.4 million per movie. Two of the 14 did OK overseas but the other 12 attracted dismal box office outside the US as well.

Clive has a reported net worth of $30 million and IMDB credits him with 21 acting awards and 39 noms.

  2. Clive Owen good subject. Frequently listed as a possible James Bond but it’s not gonna happen and he’s in his mid 50s now.

I’ve seen 15 of the 36 films on the chart, I expected more. Favorites include – Sin City, The Bourne Identity, Children of Men, Shoot em Up, King Arthur, Valerian and Elizabeth the Golden Age.

    Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!

  3. My wife liked The Knick on HBO that starred him. I’ve never seen the show.

Clive Owen is # 804 on the 2020 Oracle of Bacon; these are the other actors on the list he appeared with.

    1. Hey Dan. Glad to know your wife liked Clive Owen in The Knick. I like Clive but I did not like that show as much as she did. Good to see that Mr. Owen has worked his way onto the Oracle 1000. A multi-tie for most frequent Oracle co-star…many many people with 2 movies with him. I remember reading some of the articles when Children Of Men came out…..Michael Caine was very impressed with Clive Owen and predicted big things for him. For awhile Caine was “spot on” with that prediction. Not a very impressive amount of Oscar winning co-stars….but at least Michael Caine is one of those co-stars…lol. Good stuff as always.

  4. I have seen 23 of these movies or 63.88%. Favorites would include King Arthur, Children of Men, Sin City and Inside Man. Not a fan of Closer which got him his Oscar nomination. I thought he would be a bigger star by 2020. The 2010s did not go as well for him as I was predicting.
