  1. RIP Joel Schumacher.

I had watched a season of Batman movies recently, old and new. Schumacher’s two campy efforts have not improved with age but they can be labeled ‘guilty pleasures’.

I’ve seen 10 of the 22 films on the chart, favorites include – The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Falling Down, A Time to Kill and the two Batman films, well put it this way I’d rather watch Batman & Robin than Schindler’s List or 12 Years a Slave.

Looking at the chart, The Lost Boys is his highest rated movie, I have no problem with that. Falling Down might have been a better choice but when was the last time anybody watched that?

A nice tribute Bruce. Vote Up.

    1. Hey Steve….thanks for sharing your thoughts on Joel and his movies. I am surprised you have not seen more of his movies. I like his first Batman movie….but still do not like Batman and Robin at all. I have seen all of your favorites…and I am right there with you on The Lost Boys, A Time To Kill and Flatliners. Falling Down is a good movie….but it gets so dark as it progresses. Am I a “bad guy” for thinking that way? Good stuff as always.
