  1. Firstly, thoughts and good wishes to the Douglas family. Secondly, I have not seen as many Kirk Douglas movies as others, but I do have three that I have fond memories of. The Final Countdown, The Villain and Saturn 3. Not that any are great movies, but I remember watching them when I was younger.

    1. Hey Taylor…..good comments. I like you send thoughts and good wishes to the Douglas family. I think Steve would really like two of the three you mentioned. The Final Countdown and Saturn 3 are right in Steve’s ball park of movies he really enjoys. I liked them all. As for The Villain….it is fun to see Arnold S. figuring out the acting job….he is very very wooden in that one….but he got much better and pretty quickly. Good stuff as always.

  2. I heard this news, and I decided to come here and see what people were saying. Rest in peace. In some ways I thought he was going to live forever.

    1. Good to hear from you Helakoski. We have been getting some good comments on Kirk. The man was one of the last connections to the Golden Age of movie making. Thank goodness we still have Olivia de Havilland. I liked knowing Kirk was still around….I was hoping he would reach 105….but 103 is pretty incredible. Hope all is working out well for you. Your comments have been missed. Take care.
