Hey Flora….I have seen 14 of the 4 star Douglas roles….way less than I would have thought….I have not seen some of his most acclaimed roles like Detective Story, Ace in the Hole and Champion…I need to fix that. I am actually really really surprised you have not seen The List of Adrian Messinger…as that seems like a movie that you would really really like. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Kirk Douglas’ better film roles.
I’ve got a great film fest in my future now.
Hey Caryn this news has me very motivated to finally watch Champion…which amazingly I have not seen. So I see a Kirk film fest in my future too.
One of my favorites is War Wagon w/John Wayne
Me too. Even though their political views were drastically different….Wayne and Douglas got along great. Apparently the movie producers were worried they would hate working together. Thanks for stopping by Scott. RIP.
I’m Spartacus rip
Hey Spartacus…great callback to one of his classic movies. But…I have to say….no…I’m Spartacus…lol. Rest in Peace Mr. Kirk Douglas.
What a long long life. We should all be so lucky. With his movies he lives forever!!!!
Hey Scott P. I agree…we should all be so lucky…and yes indeed…he will live forever through his films. RIP.
