  1. He’s in A LOT of movies… that’s cool, but it’s better when an actor of his caliber appears in movies sparingly.

    1. Hey The Jet….I agree 100% with you….so far I have seen 4 of his 6 2011 movies, and so far they have all been very enjoyable. And I am really looking forward to watching We Bought A Zoo as well. Thanks for the comment.

  2. Interesting to see how Damon’s movies stack up. I think he’s a very good actor, as well as a likable guy, which counts for a lot in my book. My favorite Damon movies are Good Will Hunting and The Talented Mr. Ripley, and I also like the Bourne series and the Oceans movies. In fact, my family voted to watch The Talented Mr. Ripley on Christmas Eve … a strange choice, I guess, but a good counterpoint to all the holiday movies we watched.

    1. Hey Brian…well it looks like all of your favorite Matt Damon movies reached the Top 11 in the rankings….that makes me think my rankings might be pretty good…at least in the Matt Damon category. Interesting that you watched The Talented Mr. Ripley on Christmas…my family picked Love Actually…which has some Christmas background stuff going on…but it is a R rated romantic comedy. Thanks for the comment it is greatly appreciated.

  3. Pretty interesting page. He’s definitely one of my more favourite actors, especially with his range of acting abilities. Invictus was a great movie in my opinion – I would’ve thought it would rank higher although I didn’t watch it until recently.

    1. Hey DeviousOne….thanks for the comment and for checking out the my hub. Invictus earned Damon and Morgan Freeman Oscar nominations, but it did not earn very much money at the box office. That pretty much cost it a shot at being in Damon’s Top Ten…for Freeman Invictus came out 21st for him…so Damon’s 14th ranking is higher than Freeman. Which really only means Freeman has 7 more better movies than Damon.

  4. Cogerson….I like this guy…he’s quite a genius, actually. No matter how many movies he makes ( & I’ve probably seen most of them) I’m so stuck on “Good Will Hunting.” and following closely behind, “The Departed.” What a TWISTER & TURNER that one was! Truthfully, I got so confused the 1st time, I had to watch it twice. Besides, Matt reminds me of Leo and vise versa…..to ADD to my confusion!

    1. Hey fpherj48…thanks for stopping by and checking out my Matt Damon updated page. I am glad you liked The Departed….did you know that it was actually a remake of a film that was made in Hong Kong in 2002 called Infernal Affairs? I am guessing since your favorite two Damon movies made the Top 4 you are having with my rankings. Some people think Saving Private Ryan is too high because Damon’s part is small…but he was Private Ryan.

  5. Great movie page Cogerson. I enjoy most movies with Matt Damon in, my favourites being The Bourne movies. So many movies get boring after the first two, but The Bourne Ultimatum was just as good as the first two. I cant imagine the next bourne movie being half as good if Matt Damon is not going to be in it.

    1. Hey Zoey24….I agree the third Bourne was the best one in my book as well…and I also do not understand how you can have a Bourne movie without Matt Damon. Even more of a mystery is that Damon wants to make more Bourne movies, but his schedule was filled and the producers did not want to wait for him to be available….it is like they are in a hurry to ruin the franchise….thanks for stopping by.
