  1. I saw 6 including 5 of top 6. 10 and favorite : Roxanne, 9: not favorite bonnie and clyde. hidden gem scrooged a 7.

    1. oops, I missed the Russians are coming. a 9 and favorite. I saw it several times as a first run , all on same day . my mother dropped me at a theater in Louisville Kentucky and went shopping with her mother and my sister. I was 8 yo and happy not to go shopping . it was a kinder, more naïve America. LOL

  2. RIP Michael J. Pollard.

I’ve seen 10 of the 27 films on the chart. Favorites are – Tango & Cash, Roxanne, Dick Tracy and Bonnie and Clyde.

He played the same oddball character in each of the films I saw him in so he was instantly recognisable. I think he was Oscar nominated for Bonnie & Clyde.

Seeing Scrooged on the chart brings to mind Bobcat Goldthwait who had displayed some of Pollard’s tics and mannerisms in his comedies.

A nice tribute Bruce. Vote Up!

    1. Hey Steve…..thanks for the comment on our Michael J. Pollard page. My tally is at 12…so slightly better than your 10. I suspect some of the missing Pollard movies are ones you have seen and I have not….Hannibal Brooks comes to mind. Tango & Cash and Roxanne are easily my favorite two Pollard movies. Good point about Bobcat using some of the Pollard tics and mannerisms. Thanks for the positive thoughts and the visit. Rest in peace MJP.
